Make some space on your veg plot, no matter how small it is, to grow some flowers that attract insects.
Some edible plants are good for the insect population too, such as broad beans, blackberries, raspberries and currants.
If you have more space, a small, sink-sized pond can attract a surprising amount of wildlife.
