Your organisation can drive change by investing positively in local organisations who are working towards a sustainable future, and divesting from those who are damaging the wellbeing of people and planet.

If your organisation doesn’t already have a policy to support positive social and environmental investments, encourage the people responsible to develop such a policy. The policy might include using renewable energy, supporting community projects or buying Fair Trade, but there are many positive financial commitments your organisation can make. Widen the impact of your internal policies by ensuring that organisations conducting work on your behalf have rigorous investment policies, too.

If you are paying into a pension, or your employer does so for you, check that your pension fund is not investing in things which are against your principles.
